Sep 2016. We were finishing a degustation nearby and mentioned that we had walked part of the canal de lalinde and found a way down to the Dordogne banks. The proprietor told us as we loaded the car with wine that, if we had the time, l'ecluses nearby were a must-see. My French wasn't good enough to work out what we were looking and we stopped.
